JOB DESCRIPTION:


Middle Officer’s responsibilities:

1. Manages and coordinates Middle office activities related to fund management operations.

  • Maintains strong relationships with counterparties, including custodian, registrar, fund administration agent, fund auditors and Amundi Middle office.
  • Makes sure the transactions are processed efficiently: preparation of agreement, trade confirmation, matching, follow-up of settlement,
  • Performs Funds’ daily Net Asset Value of The Pension Funds reconciliation respecting strict cut-offs, investigation of discrepancies in case of need and implementation of solutions,
  • Guarantees the integrity of Funds’ holdings in relevant tools with custodian and fund administration agent,

2. Proposes and follows action plans for improving tools and documenting processes. 

3. Prepares periodic accurate reports 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Education: 

  • At least bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.

Work experience: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and reporting in financial sector. 

Professional skills:

  • Regulatory knowledge:  understanding of relevant legislation and standards (e.g., IFRS).
  • Process improvement – ability to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Analytical skills - ability to conduct thorough analyses in accounting and reporting
  • Attention to detail – high level of accuracy and attention to details in transaction execution, reporting and documentation
  • Investment knowledge: understanding of financial instruments and risk management
  • Project management: ability to manage and coordinate different projects in middle office area

Behavioral skills:

  • Problem-solving – Ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively. 
  • Time management – Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the company's values.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.


Other skills (languages and other skills)

  • Proficiency in Armenian and English is required,
  • Knowledge of French will be an asset.
