Amundi-Acba will donate 5 million AMD to "Teach For Armenia"

"Amundi-Acba Asset
Management" CJSC and "Teach For Armenia" educational foundation
signed a cooperation agreement, under which Amundi-Acba will donate 5 million AMD
to support Teach For Armenia. The funds provided will be directed towards the
development of pedagogical and leadership skills of Teacher-Leaders.
"Education and
culture are at the core of our social responsibility. Armenia lacks natural
resources, but it has brains. To achieve sustainable development and build a strong
state, we need to have a good educational system and good education should
start from school. Our values align with the values of Teach For
Armenia," said Jean Mazedjian, Chief Executive Officer of
"Amundi-Acba Asset Management" CJSC.
"At Teach For Armenia, we are convinced that the state can be enriched only through the expansion of educational opportunities and community development, which has become possible thanks to our loyal partners and supporters. Armenia by supporting educational organizations. Through this collaboration,
the company not only strengthens knowledge within Armenian society, but also

founded in 2013. The company manages three mandatory cumulative pension funds having more than 475 billion AMD assets under management as of May 31, 2024.
The company's shareholders are the French Amundi, Europe's leading Asset Manager with nearly 2 trillion Euros in assets under management as of March 31, 2024 and Acba Bank, which is one of the largest financial institutions in Armenia, is represented throughout the country with 65 branches.
Established in 2013, Teach For Armenia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities across Armenia. By recruiting and training recent university graduates and seasoned professionals, the organization deploys committed Teacher-Leaders to under-served rural areas for a transformative two-year teaching experience. Presently, Teach For Armenia has successfully placed over 130 Teacher-Leaders in every region, directly impacting 30,000 students. Our growing network includes 342 Alumni-Ambassadors who continue to drive change and contribute to educational equity throughout the country.
