On Charles Aznavour's 100th birthday Amundi-Acba and Newmag presented new collection

On the occasion of Charles
Aznavour's 100th birthday,
Amundi-Acba and Newmag presented a new collection of his prose and poetry. The collection is also dedicated to
Aznavour’s memory
and the preservation of his cultural heritage.
Five years ago, Amundi-Acba - Newmag cooperation was formed. Highly
appreciating the invaluable contribution of one hundred percent Armenian, one
hundred percent French, as well as the Great Armenian, who was
a bridge for strengthening Armenian-French relations, Amundi-Acba decided to take a long-term responsibility and
support Newmag in the implementation of the six-year project, within its framework, every year, on Aznavour's birthday and death anniversary, Newmag presented to the
Armenian-speaking readers the
Armenian
translation of one
book from
Aznavour's literary works or poetry.
With the support of Amundi-Acba, Newmag recorded and videotaped 6
songs, which were presented to Armenian music enthusiasts by Armenian pop
artists.
"This year we celebrate the tenth anniversary of our company; we spent five years with Newmag. Our mission is to manage the pension funds of a large part of the society, however, we also have a social responsibility. As a French-Armenian company and considering ourselves one hundred percent Armenian and one hundred percent French, it was a more than responsible decision for us to support Newmag in translating Aznavour's cultural heritage into Armenian and to introduce Armenian readers the words and writing of the great Armenian, the singer of the century" - said Zarine Yeghiazaryan, Marketing and Communications Officer of Amundi-Acba, during the event.
"Our cooperation with Amundi-Acba Asset Management is exceptional. We have worked together for more than five years to translate Aznavour's literary heritage. The project did not stop for a minute or from any side. Today, in our reality and in times of constant force majeure, it is difficult to find such an uninterrupted partnership, which I hope will continue for a long time," emphasized Artak Aleksanyan, the founder of Newmag.
This new collection not only preserves Charles Aznavour’s cultural heritage, but also contributes to the dissemination of his works among the Armenian-speaking readers.

Newmag company was established in 2007. For more than 10 years it has been publishing the magazine of the same name. In 2012 the website newmag.am was launched as an online platform for social, political, scientific, and cultural articles. In March 2018, the company decided to cease the publication of the magazine and change its path focusing on book publishing. Newmag positioned itself as a publishing house focused on publishing non-fiction literature. By 2018, the company started publishing Armenian and worldwide bestsellers.
