JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analysis of pension funds.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and frameworks.
- Monitor market conditions and assess emerging risks.
- Prepare and present regular risk reports to functional and hierarchical management and the board.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis for the pension fund’s investments.
- Collaborate with investment teams to align strategies with the fund’s risk appetite.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Train staff on risk awareness and best practices in risk management.
- Ensure operational risk mapping and monitoring, including cybersecurity.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are preferred.
Work experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management in financial services.
- Proven experience in analyzing investments and managing various types of risks.
Professional and behavioural skills:
- Strong understanding of investment instruments, risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead risk management initiatives and influence decision-making at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and develop proactive solutions.
- Willingness to constantly learn various materials․
- High sense of responsibility, dynamism.
- High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the company's values.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.
Other skills (languages and other skills)
- Proficiency in Armenian and English is required,
- Knowledge of French will be an asset.
