JOB DESCRIPTION:


The main functions

  • Investment management of portfolios and search for performance,
  • Ensure compliance with funds rules and guidelines, with decision of relevant committees, professional and ethical rules within the legal and regulatory framework,
  • Provide information on fund management and put in place all the necessary tools for the activity,
  • Trade orders and negotiate with counterparties,
  • Act as the first line of defense for KYC/KYI/KYB․


Investment management of portfolios and search for performance

  • In collaboration with both local and foreign Fund Management teams applies investment decisions on the portfolios he/she manages,
  • Participates in the formalization and improvement of fund management processes,
  • Contributes to the preparation of investment committees,
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify new investment opportunities,
  • Monitors and evaluates the performance of pension fund portfolios, 
  • Validates and rejects NAVs,
  • Presents fund management results to relevant committees,
  • Controls transaction execution and follow up of the assets under his/her responsibility. 
  • Ensure compliance with funds’ rules and guidelines, with decision of relevant committees, professional and ethical rules within the legal and regulatory framework
  • Complies with legislation, internal acts and ethical codes of the Company and more generally, complies with the rules of professional conduct,
  • Complies with the investment policy and investment management processes.


Provide information on fund management and put in place all the necessary tools for the activity

  • Exchanges information on the economic environment with internal parties, and regulator,
  • Collaborates with the relevant departments for implementing fund management tools.


Trade orders and negotiate with counterparties

  • Identifies the best-suited counterparties for each type of operation,
  • Transmits the order to the broker and monitors the transaction follow up,
  • Develops and maintains relationships with brokers and counterparties,
  • Analyzes market information. 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Education: 

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field,
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are preferred.

Work experience: 

  • Investment Management Experience (3 - 5+ years) 
  • Financial Markets and Risk Management Expertise
  • Relevant Industry background

Professional and behavioral skills:

  • Knowledge of local and international financial markets, 
  • Financial analysis and modelling,
  • Strong understanding of investment instruments, risk assessment methodologies and tools,
  • Familiarity with regulatory environment,
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, 
  • High sense of responsibility, dynamism,
  • High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the company's values,
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively,
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.


Other skills:

  • Proficiency in Armenian and English is required,
  • Knowledge of French will be an asset.
