JOB DESCRIPTION:
Investment analysis
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of investment opportunities within the financial and non-financial sectors, including fixed income and equity investments, as well as private investments,
- Assess the viability of direct investments, including infrastructure investing and contribute to the development of investment theses,
- Continuously monitor market trends, economic indicators, and financial news to contribute to investment decision making,
- With cooperation of Amundi’s respective teams, build and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities,
- Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various assumptions on investment outcomes.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare investment reports, providing insights and recommendations to fund management team and investment committees,
- Document all analysis methodologies, assumptions, and outcomes for internal and regulatory compliance.
Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams in Amundi and Amundi-Acba, including fund managers, risk and compliance officers, analysts etc. to align investment strategies with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives,
- Cooperate with external parties, including DFI’s, consultants, and analysts, to gather information and enhance investment evaluations.
The 1st line of defense
- Act as the 1st line of defense for KYC/KYI/KYB.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- At least bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field,
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are preferred.
Work experience:
- experience in financial analysis, preferably within asset management, investment banking, or related sectors (3+5+ years).
Professional and behavioral skills:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis,
- Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and investment principles,
- Familiarity with regulatory environment,
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL (for data analysis, automation, and financial modeling etc.),
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities,
- High sense of responsibility,
- High ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the company's values,
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively,
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.
Other skills:
- Proficiency in Armenian and English is required,
- Knowledge of French will be an asset.
